Spring is in the air!

Hello,another day closer to warmer weather although it seems at time the weather is as wilod as the economy.I figure if all the utilites are still on then it is a good day they redcived enough of our dwendling cash resources to keep them at bay!
I work for a tax firm during tax season and this year was not good to say the least so no extra income this year hope next is better,find myself saying that alot lately.
It seems as though most of the politicians give lip service about the economy while our families recive rear service from failing economy to know its bad is totally different than living its bad!
Kids got thier report cards today all 3 great reports I am so proud of them.

I just am getting back into the swing of things,the kids went back to school today Spring break over still deciding who got the break. I am a politcal news junkie seems like it is ranked rite up thier with my morning coffee and I am just figuring out how to get my voice out there.I am a member of a dying breed the Stay at home mom and I have disovered I have opinions on alot of things going on! I have also discoverd a very creative part of myself and utilize it often to compensate for this nose diving economy.

Our family has made some adjustments we now have 12 chikens 11 hens and a rooster to keep them happy.We also have a larger garden that we do every year and grow the veggies and fruit we all love at the end of the season I freeze alot to carry us threw winter.We share this bounty with our neighbors.We also plant 1 new fruti tree a year we now have 2 peach trees ,2 apple trees and are adding a pear and cherry,all of this has helped with the food bill and in turn taught our children about were thier food comes from and the work that goes into it.
